What does self-reliant mean?

What does self-reliant mean?

Lets start with the formal definition:

Self-Reliant: adjective - reliant on one's own powers and resources rather than those of others.

A core value that self-reliant stands for is the fact that humans are simply just evolved animals.

We’re simply animals living on planet earth without true freedom that other animals have.

From the moment we’re born into this world (speaking from the viewpoint as a US citizen) we’re raised to find our spot in the system.

The average life is as follows:

  1. Go to school.
  2. Go to college.
  3. Use loans to pay for college, now you’re in debt.
  4. Apply for a career with your new degree.
  5. Earn a starting salary.
  6. Work over 40 hours a week.
  7. Apply for Credit Cards.
  8. Use Credit Cards to pay for everything.
  9. Get in more debt.
  10. Buy a home with a mortgage.
  11. Buy a new car so you can fit in.
  12. Get married.
  13. Have kids.
  14. Raise your kid(s) while working 40 hours a week.
  15. Have a mid-life crisis.
  16. Start planning for retirement.
  17. Maybe retire and lose your mind from boredom.

It’s a perpetual cycle of nothingness, a meaningless life.

If you think differently then S/R isn’t for you.

In a nutshell, becoming self-reliant means…

  1. Developing a warriors mindset.
  2. Designing your life on your own terms.
  3. Generating income from your skillsets.
  4. Knowing how to leverage the tax code.
  5. Creating generational passive income.
  6. Living a life of ultimate time freedom.

For some this might sound cliché, but this is how the wealthy live.

I wasn’t born into wealth.

I witnessed what the average life looked like and saw how it ate my family members up and just spit them right out.

I was the kid in school that would always say “When the hell am I ever going to use this in life?”

Questioning my reality and the “normal” way of life led me to a different approach.

It led me to thinking that I can beat the system, that the system isn’t for me and if you don’t like it then you can go scratch one.

I believe that anyone can achieve Self-Reliance.

It’s ultimately a knowledge gap.

You don’t know what you don’t know.

There’s a massive educational gap in the American education system.

Most people can’t grasp the concept of living a life on your own terms because it’s not even an option for most. It’s only something the wealthy can do.

If you’re reading this though, then there’s a tiny piece of you that’s curious to see what it takes to become Self-Reliant.

Maybe you’re asking yourself “What alternative options do I have?”

I encourage you to stay curious and to never lose that part of you

Self-Reliant was designed for the people that question everything, but never get a real answer.

It’s for the people that want more out of life, but everyone around them keeps saying it’s unrealistic or that you’ll never achieve that.

It’s for the day dreamers, the creatives, the youth and the old.

Self-Reliant is for the non-conformers.

It’s an educational platform / brand that’ll give you the keys to:

  1. Morals and Basic Principles
  2. Mindset
  3. Basic Finance
  4. Entrepreneurship
  5. Business Acumen
  6. Investing 101
  7. Life Fulfillment

Designed to help people become Self-Reliant and live life on their own terms.

To help you live a life without anyone telling you how to live.

In the end, it’s wealth on your own terms.

S/R was made to help spread the knowledge to people that otherwise would never come in contact with such way of thinking.

It’s my way of giving back.

Hopefully this helps clarify what Self-Reliant means.

Thank you for reading.

Never give up.
